Chef Philippe Verpiand
has over 20 years of experience delivering the highest quality,
gourmet cuisine throughout France and the United States.
Philippe’s talents
were refined through working with world-renowned chefs in Provence,
Biarritz and the French Riviera. Philippe arrived in San Diego
at the request of local chef, Jean-Michel Diot of Tapenade
Restaurant in La Jolla, where he served as the Chef de Cuisine
for the past 7 years.
Originally from Cavaillon France, a southern region known
for sweet and fragrant melons. Philippe will bring to the Santaluz
and surrounding communities the regional flair of his hometown
cuisine and inspiration from the Mediterranean.
To compliment Philippe’s talent in the kitchen, Francois
C. Sagit gracefully balances the expertise of management at
the front of the restaurant. Francois comes to Cavaillon Restaurant
from Mister A’s in San Diego. Francois’ attention
to detail matches that of the Chef’s to create a topnotch
dining experience.
